This is my MSI GE60 ONC. I bought it August 2012 in PC Corner Main Branch located at Gilmore, Quezon City.
My first choice was the i3 version of this laptop but it’s not available, even on other stores, so I have to push my budget up to the last cent just to buy this i5 version. But I don’t regret that decision, thus, it turns out the i5 version is more suited for me, based on what i’m doing like gaming, programming & converting videos.
Here’s the SPECS of my lappy:
- Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50ghz
- 8192mb Ram DDR3
- 500gb hdd sata
- Nvidia GT650 2gb DDR5 vram
- 15.6″ HD, 1366×768 (Glare Type)
- SteelSeries Keyboard
- THX TruStudio Pro
The first time I saw this laptop, I was impress! It has a unique design in the backboard and for me, it says that this laptop is exclusively for gaming! Here are the images (sorry for the images because i’m not a professional photographer, hehe).

I’m a programmer using VB.Net 2010 and I experienced faster running and debugging of my system than my previous laptop. Converting a video to other format is a piece of cake. The heat is no longer an issue, MSI did a great job on this one. Here’s the screenshots for the performance base on WEI and screenshots of some temp controller (while i’m just browsing the net).
I only use my battery whenever I watched movies. I connect it to my LCD TV through HDMI cable. I changed the battery’s power plan to Power Saver. It gives me at least 2 movies or 3.5 hours of watching and left some 20% on my battery. That’s good enough for me. 🙂
It is worth every peso I spent for this laptop. I can play modern games in ultra settings. I post some videos while I play on some games, here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/andrewboypogi/videos. The sounds was superb, very loud but in high quality output. This laptop is Bang for the Buck! Here’s the other images I want to share with you. Have fun!
